DTI has just completed a major renovation and upgrade to its vibration facility and equipment. The building housing the test facility was completely renovated to a higher roof to accommodate a new installed hoist system and a larger entry way to allow for the ease of equipment installation into the building.
DTI maintains an L.A.B. Vibration Test Stand at the facility. The test stand was designed and setup to conduct vibration testing in accordance with MIL-S-167 and ISO 10055. The test stand was also upgraded with the following enhancements:
1. The L.A.B. analog motor control unit and operator station was replaced with an integrated Siemens P.L.C. variable speed motor controller. The controller was custom built by Control Corporation of America (CCA) for DTI
2. The vibration data acquisition hardware and software have been upgraded to include a Windows based real time digital spectrum analyzer to enhance real time data analysis during testing.
These upgrades were done as part of a series of planned facility upgrades to enhance testing capabilities and efficiency to provide state of the art testing and data acquisition while maintaining a competitive cost structure for our clients.
